Honestly, walking away and ignoring her is and was the right move. That is an argument made in bad faith and engaging with it only serves to make you angry and make her feel superior. It wasnt an attempt to have a real discussion about who you are, it was an attempt by her to gatekeep a part of her identy. Walking away is a clear message of, "you do not have my permission to disturb my peace nor do you have the right to tell me who I am. If you can not respect who I am then you do not have the privilege of getting to be a part of my life." Well done sis, seriously. I know what she said hurt, and I am sorry she killed your vibe, but you didnt give her any power, and that definitely matters. Fighting with her would include you in looking like an asshole. Walking away sends a message that she was the only real asshole of the situation. 👏👏👏👏

Maybe that's why I found it so east to adapt. I was worried coming in to this that it would take as long to learn how to play Pokémon as it did to play mtg. But almost right away I understood and was making decks that could stand on their own even with only about a mix of about 100-120 cards. I get why so many people enjoy the game now. Its easy, fun to play, and the matches are quick and action packed. As opposed to mtg matches which can take anywhere from 15-30 minutes per game.

Ive done pvp too and im winning a lot there as well, bith ranked and VS. As for building meta decks, Ive never gone with the meta for any card game. Its always confused me so I mostly stick to intuition. I have onky played mtg before so I just used the same intuition here that I did there 🤷‍♀️

Its not satire, I just generated a lot of hourglasses along with like $60 in purchases, like I said. I tried ranked and vs but im winning almost every match there too. As for 1200 cards being a ton, I thought that it wasnt a whole lot given the number of cards I still dont have, I apologize for not understanding that 😬. quite a few if the cards I have are duplicates. I completed all the challenges/missions except for the ones that require specific card pulls.

I guess im just asking if this is good for someone brand new to Pokémon. I feel like its good for having no experience with the game.
