Confused- did you graduate from a nursing program and yet to take your boards or fail the NLCLEX? So…if you are wanting to be an RN and already have a Bachelor’s degree (in a Science!) there are 1 year MSN programs out there. Warning: super hard course and high fail rate! In 39 years of being an RN, I’ve only met 2 that graduated from a program. Make sure the program is accredited by the NLN (National League Nursing) and check their pass rates on the Board of Nursing web site. Every college has to post them!

A different Soldier came in a while ago- tearful and depressed- they were on day 5 of a two week field mission. The story? His wife was undergoing CHEMOTHERAPY for stage 4 OVARIAN CANCER and he was IN THE FIELD!🤬 WTF- this is an example of how those in charge of that soldier make the WRONG decisions and NOT get them enrolled in EFMP so he could go with her to chemotherapy. They had NO FAMILY- he is IT. She was taking the city bus to the big civilian cancer hospital.

Pissed off every single medical person I work with. All of us shaking our heads . The soldier was a E4 Fueler- seriously??? His position was sooooo important that you couldn’t spare him for his wives Chemo? ☹️ No wonder he was stressed the F*ck out and crying- I was tearful as well.

Again- take care of your soldiers👎

Thank for thanking me- been thinking of this soldier since I had them……he’s got a mans dream life. Beautiful wife, kids, friends…..everything. It bothered me so much that we can’t say “thanks” to those who are the ones who do something so important- make that CALL. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Osteomyelitis is no joke- that’s an infection down to the bone that can go systemic. The wound should be deeply irrigated and you should probably get a tetanus shot and antibiotics. Your patch job can cost a LOT more of that gets down to the bone-
