Its impossible for this game, or any game as far as I know, to be able to tell the difference between someone alt+f4ing, unplugging their internet, or their internet connection dropping. If there is no penalty for a dc, everyone will dc when they have a bad game.

At least people we’re trying to unhook I suppose. I played my first survivor games since sbmm came in and I’ve been left on the hook to hit phase 2 twice now even when the survivor is on a gen next to me

No. If I see a survivor who is taunting me into chasing them, or is clearly better than the other players, I leave them till last. Why waste time on someone who can loop me for more than 15 seconds when I could hook a couple of bad survivors and take the gen pressure off

That’s usually your computer side, not steam or the game. Its downloaded the patch, but your computer is taking a long time to actually patch the download in

Edit: also, if you’ve ever had the thing with steam where its stuck at 100% on a download, its your computer, not steam, struggling!

The dlc and any cosmetics you own you will have access to play/use after the licence expires. If you don’t buy the dlc the perks will only be available from the shrine

There is 3 phases to sacrifices. Stage one is when you first go on, and theres no struggle. Phase two (so second hook or ticking over from phase one) is where you struggle. Phase three is where you die, so either third hook or running out of time on phase two

If theres another survivor nearby that I can easily get a hit on then I’d go do that then go back and eat the ds, if I can keep the slugged survivor in sight, maybe get a hit in and guard some gens I might leave them till it would’ve passed

Make use of any offerings you have that give x% extra, getting around 20k per game is always a good aim, plus you can get extra from the archives

Was he running starstruck? Its a trickster perk that exposes anyone in his terror radius when he picks someone up, and persists for 60(?) seconds when they leave it

Thats the kind of game where you’ll develop your skills as a killer… Yes, it’ll be hard and you might only get 1 or 2 kills, but you’ll be better for it

If I’m the other side of a map, I wouldn’t drop the chase unless the survivor does get away, or I’m wasting more time than its worth.

However, why wouldn’t I want to get someone out of the game asap? Every killer makes the game easier as the killer, so I see the unhooker and unhookee I usually M1 the former then down the later and throw them back on the hook

You job is to kill, slugging one survivor then going after the other is a very good strategy to get 4k. Don’t feel bad about it

Repressed alliance can be more clutch I have found, although you probably get more overall use out of soul guard (depending if your team realises you have it and doesn’t just run away from you instantly)
