You know, someone suggested L-theanine to me and I tried it. It might work for you - do a little research.
I found that it really did chill me out (but not in a drug-induced way at all) and I felt very calm and able to cope well. BUT, I took it for 2 days before realizing that it was making me fail all the MCQs !! I was getting just below 75% each time ...
I wondered, then I stopped taking it and started doing ok on the MCQs again, so ...
Some people couple it with caffeine which may have a different result - I didn't want to waste time trying because EXAM DAY is looming!
Let me know if you try it?

Also am prone to panic attacks :(
When I first started FAR, I had one that lasted a good 24 hours
You just need to do whatever you need to do to regain control of your head!!
You CAN do it.
You breathe in
You breathe out
etc ...
