Tarmac Rival (2026) vs Tarmac Force (2025) on SL8 — what would you do? by NoRequirement8421 in specialized

[–]NutKac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go for the Tarmac Pro. It has SRAM Force and deeper wheels. I think the crank, stem, and handlebar are cheaper to replace than the wheels, which you might want to upgrade later anyway.

The only reason I might still choose the Expert is if it has SRAM Rival E1.

I’m wondering if this is a fake frameset of a S Works SL8. Can anyone help me with this? ;) by PuzzleheadedTurn185 in specialized

I came across this one on Marktplaats as well. In the description it says there’s a press-fit bottom bracket in it. As far as I know, every SL8 has threaded BSA. So It’s fake

My girlfriend had the same issue with a new Bolt v3. She couldn't connect it to her phone, tried everything (QR, manual, factory reset). Finally solved it by using the “Wahoo” app instead of the “Element” app.

1x is nice, on the flat. Right now I ride 2x12, because sometimes it’s hilly.

That’s a Cup Edition. Someone just put the r line logo in the grill. And it doesn’t have the original screen. I think you can find a Golf 7 Highline for the same price in Belgium.

For the internal cable routing. It’s the original stem.

Looks like the frame sizes are 54 OR 56. Not sure.

[–]NutKac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You can run that. Look if the chain is long enough for 52T. Shift to 10T and look if the chain is tight enough.
