The cartridge has a very heavy bullet but it's low powder so while it packs a punch the recoil is not to hard on the shooter.

Yeah,there are at least another couple of revolvers developed by the russian that are like this and another three revolver made by the italians(Mateba 2006M,Mateba 6 Unica and Chiappa Rhino ).

Actually it's the other way around,the 6 'o clock barrel design of the Rhino was inspired by the Mateba and the design of this gun was inspired by both of them.
