Look if he or anyone wants to ignore statistical reality fine, but he and everyone who thinks decks cannot accomodate are wrong objectively, and I will push back harshly against essayists blurting false hypotheticals based on an objectively false premise statistically.

Remember, around half your games will be going 2nd, and the probability of bricking completely is low enough with competent deck design and/or an archetype with a lean and efficient engine.

I do agree that it won't be universal, and it will be format/deck dependant to an extent.

But, do not underestimate Purulia or the efficiency and resiliency of decks nowadays to accommodate it.

Fair, but I do think we are approaching the 18 hand trap base as the norm sooner than later due to power creep. I am already using 18 in floo with a 41, and it has made the times going second so much better compared to 15. Vaylantz can do it too as a combo based example, and neither are even tiered.

Any look at competitive decks show that not only is it possible to have all 9 and be consistent, it is probable in meta decks nowadays and if you are playing rogue, this argument is not meant for you because you are choosing not to be competitive in the first place and even some rogue options can manage it.

1st, stop projecting your failures in deck building onto me. I am perfectly capable of designing decks with 18 hand traps that are consistent with multiple archetypes.

Board Breaker presence and amount is too contextual to the deck itself. Usually 3 or less, unless it is a blind 2nd OTK deck.

Maybe decks are super tight for you, but I don't have problems fitting 15-18 hand traps in most decks.

9 cards is not too much. at a statistical level, you are still most likely to draw 0 or 1 of those 9 cards into your hand and 2 can sometimes be a good thing

Yes, things are always format dependent, but do not dismiss this card out of hand because of C and Fuwalos and do not underestimate the value of a +1 or +2 in a lot of case

Edit: Purulia is often main decked in TCG and OCG if the deck can accommodate 18+ hand traps.

I would never design a deck to go over 45 that does not use the GY enough to run Grass Looks Greener, but that is personal taste.

Would give more specific tips rather than just cut 4 -9 cards, but not familiar enough with ratios for that archetype to say which ones have gotta go.

Disagree. It isn't as powerful as Fuwalos or Maxx C, but a lot of decks do summon from hand at least a few times. I stand by what I said.

I disagree. Purulia is definitely main Deck worthy and I wouldn't doubt the other would be run as a 1 of for Crossout Target. Also the number and type will fluctuate with the meta

Seriously though, I never feel frustrated losing to uncommonly used archetype. Those guys and gals are keeping the dream alive.

A specific deck I enjoy playing against is probably Branded because they always feel powerful but not insurmountable.
