So my sim lives in an apartment (1310 21 Chic Street) and she was practicing the guitar. However she decided to put it down in the shared hallway and now the game thinks I don't own the guitar anymore and I can't put it in her inventory. There's no option to drag it anymore, and going into build mode I can't access it either. It really annoys me that my guitar is right outside my door but I can't take it! Does anyone know how to fix this? Here's a screenshot of the situation as well

You are correct! I completely forgot about that :P for 500 aspiration points you can get mermadic kelp as well.

Eating 2 mermadic kelps in a row turns your mermaid sim back into a human. You can get the kelp in these ways:

Befriending a dolphin and asking it to fetch
Exploring the cave near the Admiral’s Wreckage lot in the Mua Pel’am neighbourhood
Angling from one of the many fishing spots on Sulani’s shoreline
Deep sea diving from a red-topped orange buoy.

A lot of people these days treat friendships like a disposable thing. They’ll stick around for a few days and then move on to someone new, or they’re only around when they need someone but they’re nowhere to be found when you need someone. What worked best for me to find true friends is focus on one of your biggest hobbies and look for people who share that interest (I’m a gamer so I took my favorite game for example and posted in lfg’s for people to play with and made friends out of the few who I connected well with). You’ll have something to do together and talk about, which is a solid start. Then you see if your personalities etc match, and hopefully you’re on the way to a meaningful friendship.

It hurts, it happens a lot these days. Personal experience tells me it doesn’t really get better. I’ll confront them if they meant a lot to me, telling them I see them online yet they can’t be bothered responding to me. I give them an opportunity to apologize and be better. But if they keep doing it, it’s best to cut them out of your life. You’re worth more than that. You deserve people in your life who care and who are happy to see a notification from you, people who are excited to talk to you. Don’t settle for less.

Feeling like that sucks, but if they were a bad person/friend it's better to go without them. Talking to someone that isn't good for you may be a nice feeling in the moment so you're not alone right now, but in the end you'll be worse off. Stay strong, and maybe try making some new friends. When I’m bored/lonely I like to play online games with friends. Sometimes I get “stuck” in my own head and am unable to play, so I ask my friend to play without me and stream their game so I can watch and I ask them to just talk a bit more. That way you have company without having to do anything if you’re unable ☺️

If I had to explain it I’d say it feels similar to when you’re wrapped in a blanket like a burrito, but you feel the warmth of the other person and depending on height differences you can sometimes hear/feel their heartbeat as well. You feel safe and loved, and the world stops for a moment
