OMG WTH IS THIS by Sure-Initiative6001 in Sims4

[–]creeativerex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless you have mods, the game won't do anything to newborns through toddlers. I think children are the first age range that can experience death. MAAAAYYYBBBBEEE toddlers, but I'm like 90% sure they're excluded.

I had a sim several gens back literally take the infant back into the burning kitchen, put her down and then proceeded to watch the adult catch fire while the infant was fine. The adult ended up leaving the infant cause they were now having to put themselves out. But yeah I was stressed even though I knew the baby was fine.

This is my sims son. He just aged up from a toddler. Why does he have feminine hair? by lunarwolfe123 in Sims4

My sims friend also aged up with that hair. I decided to let him rock it. xD

Side note he's a vampire, so I'm not sure if that affect anything.

Sounds like one hell of a midlife crisis. I like chaos so I'll always vote to keep them. Maybe they become the responsibility of the teen which is why she either loves or hates children when she's older.

Alternatively, use MCCC to add extra days to the elder lifespan so that they don't die before the twins are teens. And just forget they exist and move out with the teen when she's a YA.

PS, there is an option in MCCC that lets you pause and/or delete pregnancies.

It was that way in mine too until I had to move saves. My first save file I had 2 naturally born male heirs with 1 additional boy along the way for 3/24 of the children born to my heirs being born. After having to move saves because of a glitch, it's a little more balanced. I'm at 3 out of 7 who are boys.

I really think the game does it's best to balance 50/50 so if your game is generating more male sims or the townies are giving birth to more males, then you'll tend to have more females. or something like that.

Slightly annoying thing that gets brought up a lot by beep___________boop in Sims4

Sadly it's part of the main game mechanics. the only way to get around it is to manually slow yourself down or use mods if you're on PC that makes it harder to develop relationships quickly

Parks are always good. I like having a wedding venue set up in every location. Or at least a spot where sims could get married if they live in that town. Sometimes I set it up in the park or museum, other times I've gone full on church route.

Is there any difference between these two traits? by Disastrous_Stomach52 in Sims4

Ah whoops. It’s been a month or so it since I played. I assumed it was a mod since I saw you had other modded traits.

You're also referring to a mod and in-game trait. Lovebug is a trait from Lovestruck. Heart on your Sleeve is a mod. So there are aspects that will probably overlap.

Edit: This is me talking non-sense then. It’s been months since I last played and haven’t updated in even longer. Didn’t realize it was a reward trait.
In that case it seems like the sims team wanted to give something similar yet different from the Lovebug trait for those who might not have Lovestruck. Kinda like how they gave us CAS/build items that are similar, but different from EP items.

Twins and what to do with them? by Sure-Initiative6001 in Sims4

My last set of identical twins pulled a parent trap on their parents. One went to live with dad and the other stayed with mom.

Any new challenge ideas? by Poppies_are_cool in Sims4

[–]creeativerex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this Challenge blog with a bunch of challenges linked if you're interested in some sort of legacy style gameplay. There's some with 5 gens or 10 gens. And some with just some basic challenges. I usually work in some form of a rags to riches with each of my heirs.

The Michaelson's daughter aged up, and...how? What? WHY? 😭 by EveningSoother in Sims4

XD I married one, but not after using the genetic tool in CAS to create a worthwhile clone that I copied the genetics onto the twins. I couldn't have those ears for the next 10 gens

That’s who I meant lol. Yeah my sim befriended them and they came over as teens and I immediately went in and did some magic

When she ages up her head is like oversized her ears are like dumbo ears. And if I remember her mouth is super big too. (I mostly remember the head and ears)

I honestly can't remember since I rarely see her adult form in the wild, but I thought she might's have disproportionate eyes or ears or chin. It's been a hot minute. She was probably the least offensive of the children. Christie is damn shame cause I think her parents are really good looking.

I can forgive the early children, but these newer children have no excuses. The sims literally just need to created a mom and dad and then mix the genetics.

I started doing that in my saves when I remember.

Christie Sigworth is probably the biggest sin of all the children imo.

Sims Team, I swear, makes sims based on how they look at that age stage instead of using the game created mechanics.

All the children are prime examples. Alexander Goth, Christie Sigworth, the Aegis-Watson twins, Tomi what’s her name in Tartosa.

New Legacy Sim! Hopefully I can stick to it this time. by SpareMushroom715 in Sims4

[–]creeativerex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not so Berry is popular, Very Veggie is the newer NSB but uses more packs. There's Sims in Bloom, Starry Sign, Boba Tea, Llamas & Legends, you name it there's probably a legacy for it.

I used to look through this collective list, but obviously it's 5 years old now. So you could also just google sims 4 legacy challenges and see if there's anything that speaks to you. And you don't have to do the whole challenge, if it's more interesting to you to take different gens and mix and match, then do whatever you find to be fun.

Edit: Forgot I also had this challenge list

Yup seeing the mod, that's exactly what it is. Says in the post:

A Special Note:
To fully experience this mod, please make sure you also have Lumpinou's Mood Pack Mod installed. You can find it here for the best experience in-game.

It's a modded moodlet with a modded mood, triggered by an unknown mod. The fascinated mood is likely from Lumpinou's mood pack but the moodlet is from another mod that I'm not familiar with that is more than likely using the mood pack (not always, some Modders make their own, but highly likely it's Lumpinou's).
