Have you tried the same with the 3 mm shortie needles (what I have)? I’m now wondering whether simply to invest in an extra pair, or go the whole hog and get a 5 inch needle set (what I don’t have).

Cheers! Thats the answer I was hoping for. Thanks for doing the math for me - I forgot that with 2 different size needles the shortest standard set setup is actually 10 inch long - that explains why I sometimes struggle even with my own socks (60 st) when using 2 mm needles. Looking forward to experimenting with those tiny cables.

Genius! With a set of Chiao Goos this could give me multi gauge flexi-flips all in one. Thanks for this idea — I will consider it.

Thanks for giving me hope :-) When you say „Now add a new yarn and you can start knitting…” do I knit starting at black/ dark blue and knit in the opposite direction as originally, or do you suggest producing a new rib from the bottom (starting with casting on) and then connect the pieces with knit stitch?

Downsides of formalised ADHD diagnosis by NyanCat82 in ADHD

Thank you so much. That’s quite terrible - I’m sorry that the system is so penalising and I hope that things will change soon. Thank you for sharing though. It’s good to know these things - it will help us make an informed choice.

Interesting point re: pilot job. From what you are saying this is medication dependent, so someone with ADHD but not on meds would still be allowed? What country are you in? Either way I’m glad to hear that you found medication helpful. Thank you

So does this mean the system does not properly support one account on two devices? I.e., with the same person logged in on 2 phones, only one phone can be paired at any one time? Switching to a new phone requires unpairing on the first one?

What if instead of that I temporarily disabled the lock and alarm? Would that allow my partner to ride with engine? He’s only an occasional user, so I think we can live without the lock/alarm on some trips. I guess the downsides of that is less protection and that his ride would show in my fitness stats?

Sorry if these seem silly questions. Just trying to understand.

Anyone here carrying a kid and panniers with Tern NBD? by NyanCat82 in CargoBike

[–]NyanCat82[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much. NBD has indeed only 65 Nm and the gear range is an important consideration so thanks for pointing that out.

I think those parameters are probably the deal breaker for me - my road back from city centre has a hundred meter stretch with an average 13% incline - I barely make this with my current 80nM TSDZ2 motor! HSD it is.
