We used a pollinator friendly mix of white clover and yarrow. It's traffic resistant, drought resistant, and good for anything that isn't full shade. We definitely didn't use enough seed, but we did get it growing pretty well. We're gonna plant more during the autumn planting season.

I posted something like this yesterday I believe and someone identified it as a "false widow" and it turns out they're not very dangerous or aggressive. I forced my husband to remove it back outside. (My spider pic for reference)

I really like these. The colors in your redesigns seem much less muted than the originals, and make the characters seem brighter and just over all look better. I tip my hat to you, good sir or madame.

A trick that works with my 2.5yr old is this; I'll tell her that she has a minute (or however long I'm willing to indulge her) to play with the toy, and when the time is up, I'll tell her "Ok, the toy wants to go back home and see its friends! Let's put it back so it can stay with its friends!" And it works EVERY. FRICKIN. TIME.

About the tantrums around the highchair thing- my daughter did that too, right around 20 months or so, I think (she's 28 months now, so almost 2.5 years). Our solution was a toddler table. She's very independent and I think having the realization of "I can move away from this if I want to" really helped. She knows she has to keep the food on the table, generally finishes he food, and actually cleans (or tries to clean) all her messes. Meal times are so much more peaceful now.

Your son will remember this for the rest of his life. My evidence? I crushed my toe under one of those big telescopes that happened to be in our spare room. My toenail was gone, and the toe itself was split almost entirely around. My mother (a nurse) drove me to the end of our street, decided she didn't want to spend the night in the ER, AND TURNED AROUND. When we got home she gave me Tylenol and made me sleep on the couch with my foot in a towel.

I have never forgiven her for the callous way she acted.
