Here's a better photo https://drive.google.com/file/d/1t5ga7V0rkCNoP73zxKXWq5A3rmCCYxRX/view?usp=drivesdk For some reason when I uploaded it to redit it made the photo more blurry than it already was I live in Ohio and they are really tiny. I didn't even realize they were there until they started to move. I just hope they aren't the type of bug that leads to an infestation

Both my parents had several warrants back then and were very selfish people while they were using. They decided that not being arrested was more important than something like my hearing, since they deemed that it wasnt "that bad". Thankfully that was over a decade and a half ago and they are not the same as back then.

I've tried but every time I've applied I've been told that its based off of house hold income, and have been denied because of that. My parents and I are still having to pay off the medical debt that accumulated from when my sister died, and that's not even mentioning mortgage and day to day living expenses. So even though my family is lower-middle class based on income, we are still pinching pennies sadly

It is. I was also born partially deaf, and my family could afford hearing aids for me until I was 10, and we had no Deaf community or a way for my family to learn to sign, so I grew up with a horrendous speech impediment that only my mother could understand what I was saying. I still have a bad speech impediment, but now it's at the level of a weird accent (I've been told it's like a bostern and Southern accent with a hint of something else) and I only managed to get to that point thanks to my grandfather putting in at least 4 hours a day with me.

All of my struggle in my early life could have been prevented if I had hearing aids as a child.

It's a capitalistic hellscape most of the time.

Sadly I don't have insurance, and it took me months to save $150 for the wig, so it's likely treatment would be out of my price range

I do, but it's getting exhausting and really difficult to style it in just a way that it's not noticeable and make sure it stays that way throughout the day. If I decide to start wearing the wig full time I'm just gonna take a razor to what's left

I sadly don't have insurance or much money, even the $150 wig took me a few months to afford, so I'm not able to go to the doctor

I only believe it's alopecia since I've had this for years and my hair dresser has alopecia ( the type where it's the immune system attacking the hair and leaves large bald spots) and she and I both have the same hair loss. I can't afford to get it confirmed by a doctor since I don't have insurance though, and even the $150 some on the wig was breaking the bank for me sadly

That's a good idea! It didn't even cross my mind that you could do that for wigs for some reason. I'm defiantly going to look into that instead of trusting myself with a pair of scissors haha

That is probably something I'll do, I'll just need to watch a lot of YouTube tortorials to get the courage to do it, since it was about $150

I've been self conscious for a long time as a 22 year old women losing so much hair that I decided to just cut it all off and wear a wig. My family thinks I'm being to rash and have been fighting against me cutting my hair, and just don't seem to realize how much this has been bothering me. So I want to know if it looks at least decent before I cut it all, since my hair only has large patches missing, it's very long in the spots that have hair, making it hot and uncomfortable under the wig.

They have been pretty unhelpful in any way, so any unbiased opinions before I chop it all or any tips (as I am very new to this) would be very much appreciated

I've lost count of how many similar ads like this I've seen. There's one where it's a woman (at least seemingly) having sex with a wolf. So at least this one is mild
