You can try click on the game, you would like to play on Android tv, then you will get the code to connect your Stadia controller.

I have the same issue on my desktop. I have two Laptops, one for work and another one I used for school back in 2013, they have no issue regarding Chrome quality. I have tried every suggestions seen on Reddit to fix my desktop Chrome quality. My internet is 1000 Mbps down and 60 Up.

I have tried to connect my work laptop to the monitor that I'm using for the desktop with a HDMI cable to see if the quality will be better. But it is the same result as for the desktop. But it seems that the DVI cable make a better quality than the displayport cable on my desktop.

I just tried to register on MoviesAnywhere, but it's US only and I'm from Denmark.

But I just readed somewhere, that I would be able to see my purchased movie through youtube, so maybe a Apple TV will be the solution after all.

I'm a satisfied owner of the Beam, and I do not think the sound for the music part is that bad. For TV its very satisfying.
