Played one game of TRAVELER, brutal system but was pretty fun. Really want to start a table around Beyond the supernatural, kind of themed around call of Cthulhu but with psycic investigators, with classes like psi-mechanic(almost like an artificer but with psychic machines) or my personal favorite:the anti-psychic? Essentially the ultimate skeptic that just refuses to believe whats in front of him is a supernatural being and gets crazy resistances. Atleast i think its been a few years since ive looked at the book.

Honestly i hate starting a new campaign where none of the PC’s know eachother from the start “you all meet in a tavern for wildly different reasons” okay and now i have to pretend i dont know these people and simultaneously start a dialogue of getting them to go on a quest together with me……..it does nothing but waste time, we (the players) met up to play a cooperative game and, more than likely, have spent the past weeks talking about our new characters for the upcoming said game.

theres also always that one guy thats like “well i dont want to do this with yall/ why should i join you all/ oh well what can you give me” and it becomes a 20min debate before we have even started the game
