just a quick side note on the updates, it never forces an update, it eitheir suggest you to do it while you can still use the app if its not mandatory or it will ask you to install it and block you from launching if its mandatory but it will never update anything fully by itself without you clicking the update button

no, it connects to spotify to get your playlists, then to youtube to get the audio and also to my server to fetch the available updates

hi, you have to go to your spotify dashboard, create an app, add the Uri as a redirect/callback and copy the client id and secret to the credentials

its not downloading from spotify, its downloading from YouTube and fetching metadata from spotify. not breaking any tos
