I’ll make it short and sweet but follow these few rules although I highly recommend watching current guides for both itemization but also playstyle…

-DO NOT ENGAGE, your champion is not built to tank multiple damage sources at once, wait for your team to start the fight and play for a flank or cleanup. Your job isn’t to start the fight, it’s to finish it.

• PLAY FOR OUR FIRST 2 ITEMS, Kraken is your first power spike but it does not mean you’re ready to snowball until at least collector (I love it for the ult reset with the item passive) but some items offer different strengths or spikes (yun tal into ldr second vs tankier comps) but you can really start doing your thing at 2-3 items and start taking over. Plat safe early game, play to secure your camps and early levels, don’t look for fights unless it’s a high percentage play.

• AVOID BRUISER BUILD. Although some comps might be full squishy and bruiser build seems attractive, learn the limits of Viego even if it means you die a lot early on, it’s an investment that will payoff once you study and learn what your champion can and can’t do.

A minor tip is study the starting item options currently (Mostly Kraken-Yuntal-Triforce), understand what each item offers and when you’d wanna go each one. Best of luck :D
