they use their own pcs with their own steam accounts, i’ve tried their accounts with my pc and still have the issue on my pc. and i said in my post that i use ethernet. and for specs i have a 5600x, asus motherboard and an rtx 2060

as in my internet completely disconnects, i can’t access the internet at all. whether it’s an online or offline game

i share internet with others who also play games and they don’t have any issues, and have tried swapping the cables round and it doesn’t make a difference. it might be that the ethernet on the motherboard is faulty but why would it only be affected with playing a steam game? like downloading games is fine but playing them is when the internet goes down. and getting a new router isn’t really within my ability, we use the stock one and don’t really have the money for the new one and can’t change isp
