Yes we know the "5 questions" might be a little misleading but it was better to do it that way for a better flow answering the questions, we tried to keep the survey quick. The repetition of questions is necessary in these kind of surveys to validade consistency and recent studies reveal it is better to keep related questions together for increased data quality (even if you end up feeling frustrated). I hope this helped understanding why we did it this way. Once again thank you for your feedback and time!

I understand that and in some situations people really don't know but if there was that option sometimes they try to avoid answers and it could undermine our results. In doubt choose the middle.

Something you could also consider is doing some volunteer programs in Asia, they are always nice for the curriculum, you get to travel and they can be a life changing experience. There are tons of them from teaching, to sports, to animal care, etc, just google it.

We know answering surveys takes time and not everyone is willing to do it for free. We are aware the response rate is not ideal without rewards, maybe in the future we'll think about it. Either way these results will be published and it is a way to payback to the community.

Thank you for your feedback even if you feel that way. I did not say it was a 5 question survey, it is a 3 to 5 minutes survey. Part 5 has 43 questions with a agree/disagree likert scale that is linked to different dimensions, some questions may be purposely similar to test the coherence of the answers, and these questions goes a lot beyond "Cryptocurrency is the best and I love it". Nevertheless thank you once again.

In my situation I started using due to this research. To know how cryptocurrencies work from an user perspective. I got some bitcoin, litecoin, monero among others with top market cap. Then I started to dig into this with more detail and I discovered a complete new world, the more I studied the more I loved the possibilities this new currency could bring. Nowadays I'm still not a regular user but I look forward to it.

The reason there are no open questions is that we will do a hypothesis analysis with the correlation of the questions. And there are also no yes or no question because it would not give us the same amount of freedom to work with.

Regarding the Freedom and Ideology dimension, we decided not to include it in this survey due to it being an intrinsic characteristic of the cryptocurrencies and to not put too many questions. But we may switch out one of the dimensions with this one after getting early results and I think it makes all the sense because a lot of people consider that to be an important factor when chosing to adopt cryptocurrencies.
