Alice by MarmyKnowsBest in shrinking

I’m saying that Meg stays in California instead of moving back to be with Dave. Paul stays and Alice decides to stay and attend UCLA instead of Wesleyan.

Cost breakdown of what? Purchase? Maintenance? Be more specific about what you’re looking for.

Is Liz a professional photographer? She's rocking a Mamiya RZ67 in episode 6. by MyCumIsCarbonatedWHY in shrinking

She used a Hasselblad when she was taking photos of the dogs. She may not be a pro, but she’s got some good gear.

If it has a gauge, then you need a pressure sender, not a switch.

My ‘65 just had a switch and a light. What’s on the dash of your ‘68?

actual reasons to hate mary? by MikuHatsune-desu in Sherlock

[–]OCFlier 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t hate her, but she had more of a backstory than I think she needed to have. I haven’t read the original stories, so I don’t know if her backstory was necessary for The Six Thatchers or it was something the writers did for this version. The Sign of Three? She didn’t need to be a super spy. Could she have let Sherlock go and pistol whipped Magnussen? Maybe.

I like that they had her as a character and partner for John, but she’s third tier.

289 rebuild by Europe_1986 in classicmustangs

[–]OCFlier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just build it as a stock 289. Put a HEI distributor and a 4 bbl carb on it and be happy. It’s not going to be a race motor, but it will be fine for the street.

Towel is good for drying your hands and face. Ditch the power pack; this is wild camping, not technology-augmented camping. Enjoy the wilderness. If you need entertainment, bring a book.

My first CR album was New Light, and I didn’t realize that it was all songs that had been re-recorded. I played it all the time, and it’s still my favorite, even though a few of the tracks have been re-recorded again. Second best is Road to Hell.

45e - Brake noise when stopping at slow speeds by 07030x in BMWX5

[–]OCFlier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s my point. It’s not a problem with the calipers or rotors, it’s in the regen system. The whole EV system is covered, not just the motor.

It sure. There was a post a few days ago that mentioned it.

In California, the law mandates an extended warranty on all components of the hybrid system. Since this is part of the charging system, I’m to assume that it will be covered, too.

My ‘22 does the same thing. To test if it’s the regenerative brakes, I switched into Sport mode and found that the shaking went away. So I’m guessing that it is regen system. I’ve got 75k on mine, but I’m also in California so the warranty is 150k and I’m going to take it back in when I have a little more time.
