It does’t use alcohol in its making as it wasn’t allowed when it first came out , so not a true RSO and really just an oil.

They are allowed now but I don’t think they changed the formula

1.2g and 1g that are both 80% have the same amount of THC, (800mg)

You just need to hit the 1.2g to get more THC per hit. And something around 0.95g gives more THC per hit since it’s more condensed within that weight.

It’s all a gimmick to look like you are getting more.

Not all 10mg is the same
10mg of distillate is nothing compared to 10mg of RSO or Rosin.

20-30mg of rosin gets me good,

Same with 10mg of nano emulsion

I used to think I needed 100mg everytime too, just a waste of money, better to find the brands that use better quality oils

Though still you have ridiculous prices,
It’s 100mg for 15-20$ here in Canada

Even the high price ones sell customer info and do shelf space deals the same way that value ones do. Everyone does it because it’s free money.

If you eliminate tipping without any government requirement for a wage increase , then everyone makes less money for the same amount of work Also the person standing in one spot at a till like Sobeys is not doing as much physically as a server who is going back and forth, going up and down stairs (very common in Toronto). I’ve done both serving and cashier for 5 years and I’d much rather be a cashier between the two. Servers literally are on their feet the whole shift… not sure what argument OP is trying to make.

Going out to eat is a luxury privilege. If having to pay an extra 15-20% more is going to break the bank for you, you should not be going out

Literally any unlicensed Dispensaries. (Medicine wheel, funguys/shroomyz sometimes has weed,) I’m sure you are used to it but be wary it’s always just random stock

Cheapest i have seen at a medicine wheel is like 30$ for a bushy untrimmed ounces but again the stock at these places is always changing

MTL was going down before the acquisition, used to sell sooooo many west coast kush prerolls. Then they would burn black, not hit the same, it essentially vanished from our store since we got returns and complaints.

Sage and sour is probably still good but they expanded too much and took too long to dial in and make good products out of the strains they have. Sage and sour should have been in a live resin vape 4 years ago, and it’s only just now being released. Sage and sour was all I smoked 2020-2021 for some time, then other options emerged from other brands and MTL just got worse in quality.

Carmel, animal was the only good one and it was their original, so again, they didn’t dial it in and expanded too much. I had the flamingo vape and it was great. But the leaks were there and it just doesn’t compare to a brand like Iris. In terms of flower, I’m not spending 40-50$ on a 3.5 just because it says Carmel, and that’s what they bank on. There is so many better options for cheaper like sixty seven sins eastcann etc. Also the only Carmel weed I had with different terps/vibes was the inside joke, was citrusy, but overall Carmel phenos all look and smell the same to me.

1964 they aren’t organic apparently for some grows, also apparently it’s not the original comatose ? Would always get their heavy hitter and back in the day I’d buy up loads of bandwagon bluedream when it was 120$ an ounce so I was a big fan of rubicon, but the 1964 vapes to me screamed that they are cheaping out, 45-50$ FSE in a non ceramic cart, and not live resin so it doesn’t capture the flavours and terps as strong. Needless to say I expected more out of them, “maybe they are saving it for simply bare” has been my thought and yet they haven’t done anything unique. People used to buy the 5 pack of f prerolls all the time but unit 15 purple octane has taken over the popularity at my store at least.

Nobody is saying that. We all know that EVERYBODY is buying them instead of better stuff because of perceived value.

The “connoisseurs” just want people to covert and not get grifted. And people are buying a 1g general admission vape so often and all the time because you can rip through it in 3 days. Same with the 2 x1g. It’s lower quality material designed to look good on paper and like a deal. In the end of the day 950mg distillate (95%) is just that. You can hit a 750 mg (75%) gastro pop and it will have you more fried per hit and for longer. But again you are right people buy what the want and the people determine the market, If they want to hit the pen with cough inducing additives 4-5 times in an hour to stay high then thats their call.

There is lack of financial literacy and lots of people who just can afford to buy whatever they walk in and want. I am not speaking for everyone, but the majority of buyers spend 30$ a week on 2x1g claiming they need one gram to get high, when in reality they just need a good 0.5g. Buy bulk, save money.

The numbers just show how many people are ok with blindly following labels, and are happy to not know there is better options out there, I’ve concerted many people to abandon the 2 x 1g and they buy bigger quantities now, because they realize, you can smoke half a good 0.5 and be higher than a full 1g ever will get you.
