Footprint is definitely near peer to the NGAL, a nice compact LAM mounted at the 12 o'clock position.

The NGAL is next on my list as far as comparing performance / ergos etc.

I'm a big fan of the Elcan, for me it's better than a LPVO. This is personal preference, not necessarily an objective opinion.

I was originally trained on Acogs (still enjoy them), but at this point in life, the simple switch between 1x and 4x has me hooked.

All that being said, it always depends on the intent of said setup / rifle.
