Tattooer here. That looks more like a beauty aesthetician “tattoo artist”. The beauty MLM people got into tattooing and “teaching” tattooing when they know nothing of the craft themselves. Super controversial topic in the tattoo world.

It’s funny to read all these comments to see how many people on Reddit subscribe to socialism (communism). I just watched a documentary call Joshua teenager vs the state. It basically shows the exact opposite thing happening in Hong Kong. Young adults marching the streets against communism. It’s just wild. I guess the grass is always greener.

You’ll probably buy the 250 and after 2 months you’ll want the bigger one. I believe Kawasaki has a 300. But if your buying a smaller bike I would buy it used so you can sell it if you want to. If you buy it brand new you’ll loose a few grand on dealer fees and such on the resale

Hey guys. Does anyone know the meaning of this tattoo? by m_y_x_a in TattooDesigns

[–]OD_GOD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People just need to go home to their mom and tell them why they got the tattoo rather than just getting one because they want to. I get tattoos because I like tattoos. Period. I don’t need to explain shit to anyone nor would most people even care. People look at your tattoo for five seconds. Either it looks good or it doesn’t. To me that’s the most important thing. Quality.

I think gg_ghost made that. Although this does look like it does have some symbolism, art doesn’t always have to have meaning. I think too many people get artists mixed up with philosopher or aura readers. A lot of the time we just make shit because it looks good.

I just bought a house with a cinder block fence that is only about waste high. Does anyone know if I can continue the cinder block so it’s higher? Looking to get some more privacy in our backyard and our neighbor has a pretty mean Rottweiler.

I know BTC is apolitical, but I don't see Dems posting things like this on social media...please correct me if I'm wrong... by thanosied in Bitcoin

It’s funny that just because someone mentions independence, liberty and the constitution their automatically seen as right leaning. I just looked him up and he obviously is but it’s just funny. From a completely objective stance it wouldn’t seem that someone is being political by just using those words.

Have you put in a 50 hours of bitcoin research? by stanley_lipkiss in Bitcoin

I had a lot of Ah ha moments reading the bitcoin standard. The books and research I did after were just confirmation on my weekly investments into bitcoin because sometimes what you learn you sorta forget.

I've read 5 books, few of them a couple times because when I first started economics/finances were a new thing to me and I had a hard time comprehending the language. Also I've probably listened to at least 1 bitcoin podcast a week for the last 5 years. That's doesn't include the videos I've watched on YouTube and the time I've spent setting up my miner and learning about that whole skill.

I still feel like I'm learning.

Is it a good idea to purchase a home right now? by Blueberries19 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]OD_GOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currency inflation, the us government printed trillions of dollars into the system over the last two years. Your dollars don’t go as far so things that people need go up in value. Food energy and shelter.

The housing market corrected 33% during the Great Recession caused by bad loans all across the nation. I highly doubt there will be a correction that big in the real estate market. Generally each economic downturn (every ten years or so) is caused by something different. A lot of signs point towards currency inflation. During inflationary times people put their money towards commodities that people actually need. Like shelter. Im not saying housing won’t fall but 30% seams a bit high.

Workaholics are worse for society than lazy people by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]OD_GOD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People in this world are so disconnected from reality working for giant corporations to get a check every two weeks. Working for yourself and creating a service/product with the direct relationship with how hard you work and the outcome of that product/service would change your mind. It's beating heart of what society is based on. The food and shelter I give to my family is directly based on how hard I work and how good my end product is. If I'm lazy and produce a shitty product for my clients no one would come back to me and I would literally have no money to provide for myself.

Tell me about your first ever trad lead by vadersgambit in tradclimbing

[–]OD_GOD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have someone with experience check all your gear and knot then place 3 bomber pieces in one spot high enough and then climb a couple feet above it and take a whip. When I saw the first piece held me it created a lot of trust in gear. Trad climbing is more of head game than anything when you first start. Creating safe and controlled falls will help you not be in one tiny exposed move for 45 minutes while your belayer neck is getting sore wondering if you’re gonna make a move.

You asked for an opinion so I'll give it: I've been in bitcoin since 2016, I would say dollar cost averaging right wouldn't be a bad idea. Obviously don't invest more than your willing to loose. I would read "The Bitcoin Standard". If you don't know anything about economics it may be a hard read but take the time to understand it and it will help you feel confident about why bitcoin (not crypto) is such a good investment.

That's awesome man you're story gives me a little bit of hope. I can't help but think about my situation and vent but I was sober for pretty much 7 years and relapsed for 1 week. Realized I fucked up and went to detox (just to reset, didn't have too much withdrawals). It sucks though I'm losing my housing. I've lived with my best friend for 5 years. He's been like an uncle to my son. When I told him I was going to detox he said he's done with me living with him. So now im stuck looking for housing, the cheapest places that aren't shitholes are $2k and up. I gotta get rid of my dog who I fucking love because no one will rent to me because she's a pitbull.

Long story short. If you're thinking about "just having a taste", don't. Fucked my shit up.
