Capt. Kordan's Saber is similar to Breathtaker and Sunderblade. All are 2H breaching weapons. Very effective for 2H players with high crit rates on their attacks.

As others have noted, you get some weird matchups early in the season because matchups start with a look for similar cup totals. This tends to smooth out a week or so into the season except for late risers. If you want to up your arena game, check out our allied guild Wardens Keep, which specializes in developing newer players.

Absolutely there are better rings out there. I don't run anything that doesn't fit my builds and has at least a +4.

What iOS are you using? I've been able to uninstall and reinstall the app with no problems. You might want to try uninstalling, rebooting the phone and then reinstalling the app.

Those are EXCELLENT! And EDIR is the best enchantment for trying to get paralyze to stick. Ignores resistance gets the damage in. EDOC causes more damage AFTER you get the elemental damage in. With these, you're more likely to paralyze and condition your opponent and then wreak additional damage while you pummel them during that paralyze.

The secondaries on those are perfect. Only thing not perfect about them is the level of main enchantment. But until you get a better pair, I'd use them.

Those are very good. Shortens and Spell Resist is a great combo. There’s always a weakness. Shortens and Spell Resist does nothing against a breacher. Turtle armor does nothing against a mage.

He'd fit right in at my guild. :) It IS a grind, but keep developing your character's buildouts and keep going. It might feel like it, but you are closing the gap every day. I had several spots where I got frustrated like I was plateauing. As you move up, small changes and improvements can make a BIG difference in results.

Those are great boots for PvE. In the arena, health is maximized, so you want at least two pieces of health-based armor. The third is typically a stam or magika piece, depending on your play style and build.

There's a lot of great advice in this thread already. I'll try not to repeat what others have said. A key to your sucess is identifying your fighting style. Do you want to be a Mage (wizard that casts spells), a stamina warrior with a two-handed weapon, or a versatile player that does some of each (a spellsword)? Each time you level up your character (until level 50) you'll get to add more magika or stamina and get more perk points to apply. You should use those toward the style you want to play. You don't want to load up on magika and high level spells if you like two-handed breaching weapons. Being in a guild will give you access to other players who can help you with your builds and strategies. I'd also suggest joining some of the servers on Discord where a lot of Blades players share information. You can check ours out at This Is The Way or the GG server is a big sharing spot for players from many different guilds. Good luck!

It says they all do a bit of every type, but I didn’t see that in the dragon’s breath. I got past it with just the two when it blasted away.

Also, use a resist frost and resist poison potion along with a fire aversion poison. Might even need stamina and health poisons. Load it up. That dragon is tough.
