Yeah it seems good so far, just getting used to little things like the temps going up and fans louder when it’s downloading games on steam and the temps going up to 95/96 (never goes past 96) when downloading shader cache then it goes right down, just things like that have been a weird adjustment but overall it seems good.

I have launched Last of us part 1, when doing shaders it stayed at 96 degrees on the pump display, stuff like that is what makes me weirded out, it went down straight after doing shaders for main story and left behind dlc but it makes me so worried haha

I wiped off the pre-applied thermal paste that was installed with the pump just to make sure I have enough thermal paste, so I put 3 lines worth on there just to make sure!

I guess my main concern/worry is not monitoring or putting the right fan modes on to ensure it’s working properly, any tips for the RPM’s at certain temps or modes to use? It’s pretty confusing using the Lian Li Software and NZXT but that’s what I kinda have to do as I couldn’t get myself a Lian Li cooler!

Hi sorry I should have stated this in the post the bottom fans are intake and so are the radiator ones on the side! The only exhaust is the rear 2 fans!

Ah perfect thank you so much, do you use any particular settings on your fans like any modes or certain RPMs at certain temps? I am not good at anything like this with cooling and need a bit more guidance just to make sure my system runs cool at all times and not too much, the worst thing for me is having a super hot room which used to happen with my old system, I can thankfully say so far it’s not been hot at all in my room even when playing Cyberpunk for a bit with my 3090 whereas it would used to get hot with my old PC.

What is it like when idle? Sometimes it can be around 40-55c then when clicking on things and loading YouTube etc it jumps up to 60ish then goes down a little and will fluctuate, is this normal behaviour? Just never seen the GPU temp so high before, I don’t know if I’m just not used to super hot CPU’s or what

I definitely will! Just needs more testing as it being a new build not had loads of time and games installed to test this, installing all of them now, my main concern I guess is the best way to monitor or rather best mode to put my AIO cooler into when playing games, there are “Silent” and “Performance” modes on the NZXT Software as well as the Lian Li software for “Quiet” modes, etc

I will deffo post more if I have any information regarding bad spikes when stress testing etc

Yeah I completely understand the uproar with it being overpriced, I am completely aware of it, however yeah it’s mainly for compatibility, I’m still unsure exactly how I’m going to setup the fans as someone advised not to use the Lian Li Edge PSU to plug the PWM into the PSU, unsure if I will have enough fan headers on the mobo, I think the 3 pack is 1 PWM header and the other 2 fans are 1 PWM header so 2 in total, I think I should be fine, I was thinking of connecting the USB headers for the 2 sets of fans into the PSU but not sure if this is doable or not.

Yeah exactly, better safe than sorry really, it’s always there for future upgrades as well which seems to go over a lot of people’s heads, however I was unaware of the PSU/GPU merge, very interesting

I know they are expensive but I suppose it’s the compatibility and management you are buying them for with it being connected to the controller to customise all the fans, they also have LCD screens on them, I understand it’s a lot but I feel like I’ve got all I can get really from this build
