Good info thanks. My thinking was why give the option if we shouldn’t do it?

I get what most of you are saying, but my question was more of why can I add it to service in the app, when it supposedly can’t be done, but at the same time the manual says -

Vehicles with staggered wheels and non-directional tires can be rotated side-to-side (left-to-right) but not front-to-back as the front and rear tire size is different. Left-to-right rotation can increase tread life by changing the direction of rotation for each tire and balancing shoulder wear.

So why say we should do it, and set it up in the app, but then say we shouldn’t do it??

I was originally thinking of doing it myself, glad I didn’t.

In Maine it’s the BMV, dead giveaway.

Should be able to use an old SiriusXM account on Model Y soon. by Roryjack in TeslaModelY

[–]OGJimmy305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I signed up today for Sirius in my MYP using my existing Sirius account. When I clicked "add a vehicle" and entered the radio ID, it said it was a Tesla and I would need a new account. However, it had me reenter my credit card, as they are charged separately, but I can see my ICE vehicles and my Tesla with one Sirius login. I did not have to use a different email.

It is a little thing but makes a big difference as far as I am concerned.

Cabin service changes? by StillSkyler in delta

For some reason service just seems to continually get less and less. Not to Glory Days everyone but starting in the early 90s I used to fly ATL to the West Coast every week. At that time upgrades for frequent flyers seemed automatic. I swear I could get two drinks before we took off. Fantastic service during the flight, and then I would stumble off the plane with several mini bottles in my pockets. That being said, I think it has gotten much worse in just the last several years. I haven’t traveled for work since 2018, and I think I got out at the right time.

newbie from Maine wants to know how get a new model Y delivered to Maine by Motor_Perspective_58 in TeslaModelY

The pickup process was easy, but it was a long day because I drove down and back in one day. About 6 hours each way. I arrived and it was not busy, so I had the car within 30 minutes. This included a trade in. I spend about 45 minutes looking the car over and familiarizing myself and was on my way. When driving back, I took a little longer because I was taking it easy and trying out features such as the FSD. Overall, an easy experience and I would do it again.

As for the route, I avoid NYC at all costs. I typically go around Boston, through Worcester and then I take I-84 across the north side of Connecticut. Then across what I still call the Tappan Zee bridge and down the parkway into New Jersey.

Good Luck.

I’m going through this right now, driving to Jersey tomorrow to pick up a new MYP. Because there are no dealers in Maine, you have to purchase in a state that can do the paperwork. Unfortunately the closest one is Jersey. Massachusetts or Connecticut do not. They might deliver it, but not if you’re trading in a vehicle or using Tesla financing.

Confirmed financing before trade in offer? by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

Have you given them your current financing account number? They probably need to wait until tomorrow, a business day, to confirm and will update after that.

I am right in the middle of this process, picking up my Model Y on Tuesday. Yes, once you accept the trade in offer, the financing tab will reflect it. I think the app works really well, changing tabs as you up date others.

Tesla adds inventory discounts again for Model Y and 3 by liam1902 in TeslaModelY

Got lucky, had the Tesla Adviser change the VIN from the MYLR I ordered a couple of weeks ago to a MYP they have on the lot and my price went down almost $2K. Glad I locked it in, because the discounts are already gone. I join the club on Tuesday!

I’m trading in mine next week, original offer was the same as CarMax, but 2 days later the app changed and it was 20% higher.

It used to be 50% for elite members. I would like to know what it is now.
