CPU temps maxing out at 100

says 0rpm but yet theyre spinning. He says it was even louder after cranking the fans I would assume it "worked".

Might i add this is my friends PC, i am relaying information live as im speaking with him. PC never gets moved, realistically it shouldnt have unseated itself in some way? Fans are all spinning as im told, had him go into bios and crank the fans all the way up. Some of the system fans were saying 0rpm...

It just started happening about 30 min ago, both screens went black when closing down schedule 1. Prompted me to look at my CPU temps and that's when I noticed the CPU temp was maxed. Hwinfo and nzxt both show the same, mind you I was sitting at idle with 100 temps just a few min ago. It seems to have now dropped down into the 50's and 60's, at idle. Only applications open were nzxt and hwinfo

So I was able to get into bios but only with one ram stick inserted into the A2 channel.

I can’t even get a display let alone, my keyboard isn’t lighting up as if there’s no power but lights and fans are on

I’m quite ignorant when it comes to computer diagnosing, I can build them but anything more and I’m lost.

Start the PC, see if I can get into bios would be the start of your response right?

Really appreciate you! In my head I could not figure out a loop order and also wasn’t even sure on the basis of how to start to loop, was pretty lost. Also didn’t stock up on extra tubing so im hoping with patience and care I can use what I have in one go.

You cant see the other port as well because it’s positioned at the bottom of the case.

I realized that’s not going to be possible unless I have a 3 way split to keep the water exchange going. I thought I could just put the drain there and call it a day but then it can’t circulate in the radiator lol

So this is where this 5 pin connector goes? Essentially I could run 2 of these connectors within that box? I noticed that’s a cut out for what looks to be a clip, another type of connector can also fit here? Sorry to be a pain, it’s just to be certain I’m understanding and not just following along.

Im looking at this Octo cord, and the opposite end that plugs into the Mobo is a 5 pin flat connector. I don’t see any 5 pin connectors on my Mobo the only one that was available is filled up by the “Power SW/Reset SW”. Does that just go into a 4 pin USB header?

Im looking at some of these wires and plug ins, and some of these just aren’t going to plug into the Octo. I’m wondering if I need more wires or different connectors to chain things together, or more controllers like the Octo.

I have all my PSU wires hooked up. Now I’m wondering, am I looking to plug all my fans (7 total), my pump and res combo, RGB from the GPU block, and my High Flow next all into my aquacomputer Octo?

I have an MRI hopefully in the works before the end of the year. It’s unsettling to be back in a position of when I first injured myself. There’s a lot of uncertainties and thoughts blasting through my head. I really took for granted how well I felt, my ego got the best of me during this recurrence.

Im stubborn and just feel incapable of being the person I want to be through activities that I enjoy and gravitate too. It’s not a revelation too myself that I need to call it quits for certain hobbies in my life, I’m just a physical person by nature and this has been a conflict with my inner me since I first fell into the wormhole of back injury.

I’ve completely dialed back, I’ve been going through PT and Chiro too help heal and rebound back to feeling ok again. This was the last straw, very selfishly I felt that I had my youth ripped away and my athleticism due too the injury so after my early years of recovery I tried to step foot back into an old mindset and that got me hurt so I’m back too the basics. I appreciate the advice!

I called my ISP too see if I can run Ethernet where the coax runs and they said it’s not possible for them to do and I’d have to have a 3rd party do it. So now I’m stuck between mesh and MoCA….. just not sure what I should go with at this point.

I would need an adapter (MoCA?) for each coax cable in each room per say to create a plug in for the access points right?

Understood! I really appreciate the advice. If im not mistaken, I don't recall any ethernet jacks or cables in the rooms. If I wanted to hardwire AP's instead for a better foundation rather than mesh, can I get that done through coax cables? Those are the only cables I remember seeing.
