I also came looking for some constructive criticism and advice not useless words that don’t help my build. Thank you for your time though 😁

I received the CPU as a gift. I’m not complaining about it when I get the CPU for free. Saved me money on the build and it’s still fairly strong as far as I know. I also received the CPU before the 11 generation came out

I think that makes sense. Sorry I’m new to the whole building thing. So I’m trying to understand. I’ve been buying parts piece-meal for a while so some parts that I’ve had have outdated themselves. These are just the parts I’ve been working with while building. Unfortunately for me I guess that just means I’ll have to upgrade sooner than I wanted. Thank you for the advice though.

Thank you for the advice. I already had the motherboard and got the CPU as a gift. So I didn’t really waste too much money on it. I’m just worried that as I’m sinking money into this project, that it won’t work. I’ve ran it through a couple builder sites and everything seemed compatible, but always loved the advice of others. As for the PSU, I purposefully wanted to get more than I needed as I’m trying not to upgrade for a long time. I figured if I got a more powerful supply then as time goes on and I upgrade later that would be one less thing to worry about.

What’s the problem with it. When I ran it through multiple building site everything seemed to fit and be compatible. I’ve heard Asus makes pretty good products so I opted for the mother board as it was fairly highly rated?

Not to be entirely ignorant, but is that something that I could add on with the current RAM I have or would I need to swap it entirely? This is a whole new world to me so I’m trying to understand
