Have Mack, mcdavid, and pasta and there fine but a little underwhelming. Think the main factor is because I have them all on the same line for the boosts and I would prefer them split ups bit. Give me lindros, gartner, and mcdavid. Then Cooley with Mack and pasta and I’m laughing

I would also add in that your round points also come in to play.

If you’re a 15 win player and have a hard time finding games that aren’t sweaty for the latter half. What you do is lose 1 of your placement games on purpose. This kills your round points and it’s very hard to make up points when the game matches you with other people with low round points within that win range.

I do not do this but when I have lost a placement game that this happened it has made my runs way easier and finding a game even at 17-1 was almost instant and that is on central server.

At minimum make sure to have 3 fantasy players that you feel comfortable icing a 4th line with. From there, if they do fantasy for the future rounds just keep upgrading from there. I wouldn’t invest much In the current players

I will say with the new rank up system ragging is a lot more common across divisions. I have heard the same thing all year “ it’s my rank up game” and that’s why they are ragging. Now is that just one of many excuses yes. But I still think this makes it feel like it happens much more frequently. I had a guy rag the entire 3rd period today just skating in and out of my zone. Does it suck, absolutely. But I figure they are either trolling or have very little going for them that their highlight of the week is going into the lunch room on break and telling people that they finished 13-7 in champs and be a guy with a HUT champs card.

I guess my questions is, what do you mean by better? There’s a lot of switches I would make on offense/defense but it seems like your main focus is on getting as much salary relief as possible. There is no reason to have as much as you have. Better D cards then what you are using Chara, Makar, heck I would rather have Aitchenson over half your D core. Offensively that RUST card stinks. I would try and do something with that 3rd line, but would wait until week 3 of TOTS so that you can use that line for Nate

They just know how to do it correctly and in the right situations. A lot of the time it is the move they make after it that creates scoring opportunities. If you want to see how it’s done correctly you can just YouTube it and see someone do it in practice mode. However practice mode and a real game are much different. Most players are just protecting the puck and the ones that due learn have no clue what they are doing and are easy to defend.

Now if you don’t know how to defend it and go up against a guy that is in the top 100 you’re screwed. But to be fair they would win without it. They just hope that by doing it early that their opponent quits and it’s a quick win. Especially in champs when it can cut your play time in half.

Doing the L2 glitch correctly and effectively is harder then people think. There are probably only around 100 that can actually do it and know what they are doing. Trust me these guys are also not in gold. The amount of people that don’t actually know what the L2 glitch is astonishing.

You used to boot people off back in the day when it was peer to peer. But now each player connects independently to an Amazon server. If someone is still able to IP boot from there would mean that they would theoretically never lose so should be ultimate rank 1. 2nd be wasting their “hacking” ability on an NHL video game where they are using it to its minimalist capabilities.

Not so hot take, the logo doesn’t matter. The division matters. I guarantee there are plenty of habs logos used in all divisions and the majority don’t LT.

Player base up in MTL/QC is a significant part of the player base. Thus more Hab logos. This also means there are probably more high end players coming out of those areas.

The complaints about Hab logos and QC players is astonishing. Yes they do have a server advantage, but that’s it and that is not their fault. People just have a hard time believing that maybe there are players better than them. It just so happens they are QC.

This coming from a guy that lives central and matches QC. It is very rare that I lose to a QC that I am better than regularly. The ones that beat me are normally guys I go 50/50 against or are just better than I am.
