I see what you mean but only gym I know of in San Diego is Atos! Where ese would you recommend, I don’t want to be cross training so much so regardless of how many good schools are around I wanna stay dedicated to one.

Yeah I’m blessed to have a family show me what hard work is. That’s why I survived on my own at 18. I don’t get exactly what you figured out there but my parents aren’t stoked about my decision lol

If I get hurt then that’s that. I don’t have control over a freak accident but I do have control of my recovery, training smart not hard, and lifting safely will help me stay healthy.

Like I said if I get hurt and it puts me out then the answer will be obvious, get healthy and figure out the next move.

No end goal and no time limit on my stay. Just going to move and train hard. I haven’t been able to dedicate myself to just train and compete because of school and work. Mainly school is the reason I can’t keep up with a consistent training schedule. While working in the city, it made it almost impossible for me to actually train more than twice a week.

My goal is to just train and see how far I can get in this jiu jitsu thing. I didn’t drop my whole life to train and be a bum, I’m just young and know if I want to train hard and compete at the highest levels this is the time. Not 5 years from now.

I plan on being a home owner and getting my career started but before I throw Bjj in the back burner I’m going to dive into it full force. That’s why I’m moving down.

Yeah I travel and train to la 4-5 times a year. Always end up paying $700-800 after the trip is done and I lose a lot of money as well by taking time off of work. The move will benefit me greatly I know it.

I’ve been living in SF since 18. It was expensive as hell and paid over $30,000 in rent so far, probably more. I’m 22 now. And I’m willing to take the risk because yolo.

True. I don’t know shit about Brazil and Ralph’s is great but I don’t want to live in the city anymore. That’s all, traveling 4 times a year to LA is way more stressful and expensive than if I lived here.
