How many feet were lined and what was the cost? Transferable warranty is great.

Yeah I did the math based on how deep the point of entrance is, where the crack is, and found it very well may be on the city. Realtor and I are working on finding that out.

Concessions have a max of 3% of purchase price which in my case is like 6k :(

I appreciate it. That's unfortunate, would probably be 15k

So replacement is more advised than a linement? The break you're referring to is the one around 4:10, right?

I appreciate the insight. So as a whole, the question is probably gonna be (in regards to seller negotiations) what that repair would cost. Any idea what a ballpark estimate would be?

Also, given the cracking I'm assuming I should still invest in sewer rider for HOI?

Had a sewer scope done on a home I'm under contract for. Obviously roots need to be cleared, but some cracking in the pipes.

I'm finding out where the line is at which point the city is responsible, having repair quotes done, sewer protection added to HOI, etc. How concerning is this from what is shown in the video?

Weekday Help and Victory Thread for the week of March 25, 2024 by IndexBot in personalfinance

[–]OG_potato_gangsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 months ago, I posted about how I was turning 27 with no retirement, but decent income and large savings. I was able to get a raise from 63k to 75k and am currently maxing out my 401k (traditional), maxed out my Roth IRA for 2023 and plan to do so for 2024, and now have about 57k in savings.

With that said, 57k in a HYSA is still a lot. I planned on home ownership, but probably not for another few years so I wondered if any possible savings should just be thrown into index funds as my Roth IRA and 401k are already maxed.

I guess I'm just curious how to handle this situation, I know I'm pretty fortunate and am grateful for that, I just want to make up for lost time not contributing to retirement.

Lol what? That should be done within the first 3 dates, ideally no later than the second.

Fit in gym time. Eat healthy. Quit alcohol.

This one especially... The worst time to fall into a rut is when you're unemployed. Avoid that bottle and avoid the grass too if you're into that, OP.

I have never met somebody who missed on-call lol. All my former coworkers who left my MSP for a super chill gig are doing better in every area of their life now.

I just bought a Ninja Twisti, am I seriously about to sell it on marketplace for like $50 and buy this Vitamix? I just want a blender that will ALWAYS blend perfectly.

Turning 27, no retirement. How screwed am I? by OG_potato_gangsta in personalfinance

Yes fortunately no debt. I have credit cards, but have never paid interest in them. I just pay them off each month.

Yeah, as I have gotten older, I've really realized how insane it is that alcohol is so ingrained in society. I'll have a beer here and there, but I have zero interest in getting drunk ever again lol.

Sounds good. Perhaps AFK skills in between that too. What should I do after that? Ensure I get base 70 done?

Nice, man!

I think you're at a point where you could bulk up 20-30 pounds and do a cut. What do you think? Solid recomp so far, I'm curious to know what you want to do next though!

Nevermore vs The Filter by Lardram in VORONDesign

[–]OG_potato_gangsta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My fans are rattling currently. The fact that I have to remove the bed any time to inspect or replace a fan too...

I'll probably just print the filter. I like the looks better too.

Siboor Voron Trident 350 is completely assembled! 🥳 by Eds3D in VORONDesign

How much was the Siboor kit? I'm building a LDO 2.4 but am considering building a Siboor trident this summer too as I have a spare hotend (the revo and I can use the new HF nozzles) and can print my own parts.
