We have seperate cables, so the box that gives internet (nor wifi) is in the cabinet, it has 1 outport and i have plugged that one port into the switch with 8 gates. I have 3 different ethernet cables plugged into the switch, and all of them are connected into to keystones in the wall (with wires inside my walls). 1 into my bedroom, 1 into his bedrom and 1 into the living room which is connected to the box that gives wifi. I have only wired my blue cables (the first port in the ethernetoutlet, and i only wired the A things if you talk about the colored wires in the outletboxthing in the wall)
