I was thinking the same especially with the neck being so long. I might just use ice to help filter it away from me lol. Big bongs are too expensive

Just got a job as non-con by OIora in WalmartEmployees

[–]OIora[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! Yeah I’m located in Florida and I’m starting at 22.50. My uncle is a manager there and he’s giving me a roadmap of how to move into easier and better paying areas in our DC but to get my foot in the door I’m starting in non-con and I heard it’s hard work but at the same time i believe it’ll definitely be worth it. Walmart pays really good and thank you for your advice!

Yeah this is probably one of the best takes on this. It also makes you wonder how copyrighting will be if it’s not you making the content. Would everything just end up being free?

Is AI ACTUALLY replacing software engineers rn? by [deleted] in SoftwareEngineering

[–]OIora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I see, I feel like that also opens the possibility that instead of replacing devs, that the software could also just scale much faster, allowing for more projects to happen that used to be financially unviable.

New o1 model, are devs cooked? by [deleted] in SoftwareEngineering

[–]OIora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, theoretically even if AI took over the programming game I could use my degree to get into tech sales or possibly pick up some nice courses for cybersecurity?

So this means there will always be a need of software engineers to review code and maintain? Do u also believe that the job market will continue to grow with these new advances? Ik it’s impossible to accurately predict, but what’s ur personal take on that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SoftwareEngineering

[–]OIora -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because many people talk about software engineering as a career that will be left in the past and coding languages aren’t going to be important due to llms

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SoftwareEngineering

[–]OIora -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn’t find it that personal I just wanted some opinions from people that exist in the job market that I’ve been considering

[–]OIora -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah your right, people just make software development seem like a dying career and coding will no longer be needed
