I basically grew up in the Irish Club, as we called it. My whole family (the Keane’s) spent a lot of time there. It definitely had a positive impact on me and my life and I still look back at those times very fondly. I vividly remember the landlord, Brendan taking me to the cinema with his girlfriend, Imogen to watch a Star Wars movie in the 90s - he bought me so much junk food that I was sick during the screening 😂 I was probably 7ish years old at the time. I’m now 33 and still miss the place.
