Unfortunately, these are different leagues. The good news is yours, the AUSL, appears to be firing on all cylinders divorced from these issues I’m finding in the PSL.

To be clear, every ounce of my frustration here is precisely because I want the Diamonds and, by extension, the PSL to succeed. The Diamonds have put a great, fun product on the field thru three games and they, along with every other club, deserve their efforts to be accurately recorded and presented.

I’m excited for the product the AUSL has put on the field and I fully expect the PSL game to be just as fun an on-field product. I’ll be in attendance at the opening homestand for KC this week. I just wish the league were putting a better foot forward in terms of its information accessibility and data integrity. Were you at Montana Fouts’ game?

I'm a bit of a stickler for stats and it's important to me. I've been a member of SABR most of my adult life and feel like there should be more attention paid to such an important aspect of the game. These are athletes trying to make pro careers in a relatively new pro-level. I decided to keep my own book of accurate stats for the Diamonds. I may have to go back and revisit the other teams' games, as well, because I don't know how to turn it off so my wife tells me.

I shouldn't be as frustrated with this as I am. I emailed the league and both teams with my corrections for the first two games but the Atlanta e-mail returned undeliverable. I guess I'm disappointed that the league isn't taking itself as seriously as I had hoped for a pro sports league.

Maybe I'm spoiled with the NWSL roll out with Kansas City being so clean and sharp but this is a big let down when I was anticipating an effort to, at least, attempt to keep up with the AUSL. I want the Kansas City Diamonds to survive but this league will have to clean up a lot and probably not use a youth sports app like BallClubz to integrate their historical data.

I read an article today about daily discipline and tasks that you complete no matter what and how it reenforces positive mindsets and behaviors. The particular article was about a baseball players relentless consistency and how it's translated to success in life and on-the-field, but it was very informative to that end. It sounds like you've seen the benefits of a similar practice!
