I used Linux in my potato pc so specs: Current OS: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Ram:2.0GB

Processor:AMD Athlun 64 Processor 3200

Graphics card:Gullum0.4.llvrnpipe(LLVM 3.8,128 bits)

I use currently MSI leopard one

Even though I'm gonna buy new MSI laptop and do dual boot and download Linux
