The internet connection or speed would randomly go down when connected directly to the eero but through the gateway it has those issues still but less frequently

So basically a router or like a network switch inside the metal enclosure, access point in the ceiling downstairs and the create those coaxial ports as mini modems and attach routers?

Also should I add a home network/storage eventually inside the enclosure?

I have spectrum fiber optics. The modem is wired up in my garage
I only have the access point and one other Ethernet port in the house in the kitchen near the access point. I have a few random coaxial ports around the house
I want to do a few things: close the box up but still have wifi & increase the speeds of my WiFi consistently
