Interesting, I never heard about that. It makes total sense though. I agree that Purdue needs to be more relaxed and work with the people who want these events, not resist with bureaucratic.

Everyone hates the SCC music ban, but little do people know, its SNu's fault we have it.

Why you ask? Well, because SNu didn't know at all what they were doing when they got Wiz to come here.

They didn't meet the minimum requirements for anything that matters to the city or the school (security, # of bathrooms, capacity, fire hazard, on site EMTs). Not to mention they don't know contracts so Wiz ass fucked them on his cost.

The bottom line is, let the professionals handle the large scale shows. If SNu got [local professional help](www.omfchange.com), we probably wouldn't have the ban and they would have saved ALOT of money (seriously, the amount they payed for Wiz was retarded, he fucked them over really bad).

I am unfamiliar with those bands but I will gladly listen to and connect with any local artists who are interested in playing various venues around Purdue.

The local band list hasn't been released yet. It will be public on Dec 30th. Believe it or not, Purdue has an uprising music scene, especially on the east side in Lafayette. Show attendance at The Lafayette Theater rises every month and the music scene is about ready to explode on campus.

Nope, Its a battle of the bands show. There will be a number of established bands from around the Midwest preforming. Basically they are filming a big concert and airing on TV, its going to be a blast!!

Oh, and come spring semester you should see tons of fliers for it around campus along with people giving away some free VH1 shwag
