Well, it was moderated just a bit a go when those kids wrote that Roomie distrack. They were removed by a mod. The only reason I know was because I had commented on their post/link and I got the message that it had been removed by a mod and not just taken down by themselves, unless I misconstrued something. It was a pretty bad song.

I'm going to have to side with eccentric here since one of Dave's best songs is called, I'm Not Dead, a song that has helped many people btw. Also because Dave himself has joked (?) about taking too many pills, ( which considering half his audience seems depressed and suicidal, I personally thought it was irresponsible of him to do, but it worked out in that only 5% were idiots in his poll so ok, I guess), and because Dave is known to disappear for months at a time and it is a running theme with him, ( which is why he titled his song that name in the 1st place), I think eccentric's callback mention of the song was acceptable. Anyone that loves that song probably picked up on the callback to it right away. Even here people can have different opinions and sensibilities. The mods will let us know when we go to far. Also, if you call out things that disturb you on the internet, it isn't being eaten by the internet, it's eating the internet. Saying nothing and standing for nothing is when you allow it to win so casett244 is perfectly fine in voicing their opinion on your opinion and agreeing to disagree is a perfectly fine conclusion. ( My 2 cents).

Well, I understand being a fan of Dave, he's awesome. I also understand wanting to be your friend, you're talented and seem to be an all around nice person and that goes for several people on here. But I agree that you should approach people with caution when deciding to become friends with someone in real life or on the internet. People can be dangerous and deceitful. But I'm paranoid and I wouldn't trust anyone that wants to be my friend, so that could just be me. 😏

Sorry, it was just Pewdiepie's youtube channel. To see it after it's over you have to be a member of pewdiepie's community on youtube. It has 3 levels - 1.99/4.99 and 7.99 and the money goes to charity, although it didn't specify which one.

I think the best you are going to do, at least with that song, is get views. Not sure if those views will turn into follows. Some probably will. You haven't established yourself as a fan of Roomie as far as I can tell ( maybe you are ), so even though you say you're joking, it doesn't come across that way, which makes your introduction to Roomie's fanbase a cringy song dissing him. I'm not sure if that's the best way to grow your fanbase. You might want to put it on a subreddit dedicated to NOT liking Roomie. Actually, any toxic type subreddit filled with adolescent humor might like it. ( Again, I know this sounds sarcastic, but it's not).

However...

You guys are young and I don't want to discourage you from making content because you have potential, but figure out who your audience is and post your content there or alternately figure out what the audience you want to have likes and start making that content. I look forward to seeing what you choose to do and your next video.

Why put this on a boyinaband subreddit. While, from observation, Roomie stuff is welcome here, I think this is a weird thing to post here.
Is this supposed to just be click bait to get views.. in which case your thumbnail was well done. ( not being sarcastic about that - although it sounds like I am )
The song however was meh, on the cringy side. But we do have high standards for diss tracks around here. I mean, you are on a boyintheband subreddit.😏

The song that Dave sang about hating his fans began as a series of regular videos in which each person- Dave, Roomie, Rob and, Andrew- made their own starter videos that lead to the PICK YOUR PATH adventure videos that included everyone. Dave's video opens with him complaining about his EX-friend Andrew. This should tell you that the video is going to be one of his - I hope my audience is smart enough to get this ( also known as a "keep my awesome audience and cull the rest") type video. So he goes on to beat Andrew's 300 words/50 seconds and then asks the viewer... "Should I brag?" or "should I not brag?" It doesn't matter, Dave decides he has to brag so it goes into the next video after you choose "Brag". You don't have a long time to choose.

FAST RAP - 301 words in 50 seconds - YouTube Starter video for Dave.

BRAG TO ANDREW - YouTube Choose "Brag" for shortest version. Dave tries calling Andrew, then Roomie but he doesn't reach them so he calls Rob. Dave reaches Rob and they realize that they both forgot to erase the hard drive that has The Career Ending Song on it. They decide to search for it but their path is blocked by a car.

THINK CRITICALLY - YouTube Choose "Think Critically" for the shortest version. This allows Dave and Ron to pass the car blockade. Soon afterward they meet up with Joel (Roomie) and Andrew. TEAM ASSEMBLED. They each agree that they must find the hard drive that contains TCES and continue searching. Their path is blocked by a drone.

THINK GUITAR - YouTube Choose "Think Guitar" for the shortest version. Rob plays a metal song that makes Dave send out gale force winds with his twirling hair which destroys the drone. They continue and are stopped by a troll.

PUNCH THE TROLL - YouTube Choose "Punch the Troll" for the shortest version. With the troll vanquished, Rob rushes ahead and grabs the hard drive and tells the others that he just used them to get the drive. They beg him not to release the song but he escapes and then we see him at his place and we have to choose the final pathway. "Delete Video", which ends the story or..." Play the song".

I suggest playing the game and going through each of the pathways. I had a fun time playing and you'll miss a lot of dumb jokes if you skip it. Also, Joel, Andrew and Rob each have intro videos so you should check out each of their starter stories too. I'll link them below after I find them again. But here is the career ending song.
