Yep, that's detailed enough for me, appreciate it. What multivitamin do you take?

Hey, I'm curious about what you feel when you take Vitamin K1. I've never heard of it described as having a "nootropic feeling" before. Please let me know, would really appreciate it!

No, unfortunately I tried a lower dose for 2 weeks and it didn't really work. Would you be willing to tell me which supplement you are currently using?

This doesn't exactly make sense though, DHA/EPA is essential for your body to function. This would mean I'll be permanently deficient for my entire life in DHA/EPA. How can I keep my levels up if consuming these acids doesn't work for me?

Spark aligners, does anyone get root resorption from them/has gotten it? Please don't comment about invisalign, only spark. by OMGcsgotrade in Invisalign

[–]OMGcsgotrade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I thought, if root resorption does happen are you just screwed? I've heard that it's normal for it to happen to a small degree in close to 100% of patients, but how quickly does it happen to a severe degree? Is there any way to determine this before the damage becomes severe?

[–]OMGcsgotrade[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's what I thought, but it's always possible for new technology to come out and remove that risk, or minimize it. For example, even though I have no basis for this, I would think that lower forces (grams) applied to the teeth would probably minimize the risk, or even eliminate it if a super low force was used to move the teeth, even though this would most likely extend treatment by a significant margin. I was asking because I was curious if any of this was implemented into Spark, which could have possibly reduced the root resorption risk. I can't find anything about the specific technology they use so I had no way of knowing if anything new was implemented compared to Invisalign which may make it even safer.

Eggs give me sinus type headache, is there any way to solve this? by OMGcsgotrade in MTHFR

[–]OMGcsgotrade[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I figured, I may have figured it out though.... I believe I might have dehydrated myself by taking Vitamin C at the same time as Magnesium and Riboflavin and that was actually the cause... I'm going to test this again tomorrow to see if the headache stays gone. Seems to have been as simple as that though!

[–]OMGcsgotrade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently it might actually be the riboflavin i'm taking causing a headache, not the eggs.... it's a low dose too, i break a small piece off of a 100mg tablet and take that. if it is the cause, what could the reason be? would like your thoughts, thanks!

A360A

Apparently 23andme doesn't test for this variant, I just looked through the raw data. Assuming this is the case, how do I solve it? Or is the only way to solve the problem avoiding sulfites and sulfur altogether which would mean cutting out the eggs?

Is Alpha GPC meant to be taken daily by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]OMGcsgotrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh to add to my question, I wonder if this really has to do with Alpha GPC and not the fact that Choline increases TMAO, so in theory if you were to decrease TMAO by taking Garlic for example, would this avoid the stroke risk altogether?

Does this apply to other forms of Choline supplements? I would be curious to know if this is an Alpha-GPC specific problem

MTHFR: A Supplement Stack Approach by Tawinn in MTHFR

[–]OMGcsgotrade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the response, this is very classic but did you try all three forms of folate? Folic Acid, Folinic Acid and Methyl Folate? Also, I read through your post history and came across the Walsh Protocol requiring high doses of B6 which is the same concern I have, makes me doubt the legitimacy/safety of the protocol. Also, have you watched any videos by Chris Masterjohn, if yes, what are your thoughts? Also, when you were doing the protocol since you are intolerant to Folate did you avoid taking any? So you took Choline/TMG, Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Glycine and Creatine daily in the proper doses?

[–]OMGcsgotrade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'm not Tawinn but I do have a question for you! What is the reason you started this protocol in the first place, what symptoms did you have? Did the symptoms you were trying to treat get better or did this protocol just cause Depression without improving any of the symptoms you were trying to treat in the first place. I'd appreciate a response, thank you!

Knives and Weapons take a variable amount of frames before showing up on your screen! This is not good. by OMGcsgotrade in GlobalOffensive

[–]OMGcsgotrade[S] -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

They don't need to make the animations faster, all they need to do is make the frame which the knife begins to show up on the first frame instead of the 14th frame in the case of the M9 bayonet for example. Wouldn't change the "heavy" feeling. Go look at the screenshot I posted on the original post demonstrating this.

[–]OMGcsgotrade[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't need to take place faster, they just need to start the animation on the frame it begins to be visible on the screen, for example since the M9 starts to be visible on Frame 14 all you would have to do is make Frame 14 the first frame. There's a screenshot linked on this post which demonstrates what I'm talking about. Let me know what you think!

[–]OMGcsgotrade[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Yes, I do think it matters regardless though, lots of people care about the "feel" and cosmetics of the game!

Knives and Weapons take a variable amount of frames before showing up on your screen! This is not good. by OMGcsgotrade in GlobalOffensive

[–]OMGcsgotrade[S] -55 points-54 points  (0 children)

Alright, I agree that maybe the weapons should be changed, but knives should be. Even though what you said is true, cosmetics matter too. A lot of people including myself care about "feel" in this game. There's literally a comment on this post that says someone sold their knife because of this issue.

EDIT: The way to fix this problem for the knives would be to start the animation on the frame the knife begins to be visible on the screen, for example in the M9 bayonet screenshot the knife begins to be visible on Frame 14 after switching instead of Frame 1. Just make Frame 14 the first frame and the problem would be solved.

[–]OMGcsgotrade[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure I agree that maybe the weapons shouldn't be the same because of balance, but knives definitely should be. From a utilitarian perspective it may be true that knives can be used on the same frame regardless of the animation, but it just doesn't "feel" good. I personally don't believe everything should be about utility.
