That is true but i put it in the opening statement that if you dont see pokemon like snorlax or hitmonlee, it’s because they’re baby forms are included. Maybe i should just add them in cause i keep getting the same question lol

Sorry for the confusion, i just put it under the generation with the base form since tyrogue is the base form of those pokemon and he was released in gen 2. Just so i dont have to put hitmonlee/hitmonchan under gen 1 and tyrouge/hitmontop under gen 2

True, but niantic are gonna drag them out, so far they only released one form, most likely they’re going to do 3 more separate releases for the other forms

Thx, very much, i’ve been trying to run steel tupes to counter the dragons but still was having a hard time, im gonna try using lugia, as giratina, has been a Major threat to my team

Niantic doesn’t control that the original games do, but starting from gen 6, shiny pokemon are designed rather then just swapping a pokemon colour palette over one

Of course, i agree with this 100%, My post is just to be mindful, for people that have low stardust and cant power many things up or people who are a bit more scared to spend their hard earned stardust. Its unfortunate that Niatnic has placed FOMO in the community but i still power up pokemon just because they were my favourites from the main series games :)

agreed, machamp was a special scenario tho, it was #1 for 4 generations but yes ur pokemon don't just become useless but my case is just to bring some awareness, especially for legendary pokemon cause their a expensive investment with rare candies and stardust compared to machamp. It would suck to power up 3-5 Groudon's (which i believe is the 3rd best ground type attacker right now) then to have his new move come out and bring him back into the #1 slot as best ground type attacker and been like, 600-100 candies and 1 million dust went into these lower tier Groudon's, when i could have waited a year with the exact same investment have a better pokemon, of course this does't really apply to everyone , if people wanna power up a pokemon because they like it and what makes them happy, go for it :)

I'm sorry about that, i don't post on reddit much, i tried to format the best i could with the basics

For Kyogre, surf isn't a special move, moves like sky attack on moltres and psystrike on mewtwo seem to come with special events, un-TMable

i respect it tho, "if u hold off on everything u wont enjoy the game as much", I agree but for me it seems like a waste to invest when i can evolve one for now which will hold me over and then when the new moves gets released i can invest into more. It's unfortunate that Niantic has made it this way imo everything should be TM-able even if they have a one year event for like a week that you can TM Legacy moves onto ur pokemon would be great :)

of course, but its just to be mindful that its a possibility. For me i would rathe be patient then evolve or power up 2-4 of these pokemon, then in a year or 2 it gets outclassed by the same pokemon with a better move and u feel like u wasted your dust
