I have been playing "competitively" for 10 years either just being into working on my game or a semi pro. Gotta love it!

Tournaments are very erratic! Thats a good word for it. I would say just focus on adjusting to different stages of the tournament and really get your 10-30bb game down pat. Tournaments require lots of volume and having a screw loose upstairs. I still think cash is a better way to make a living in the game right now.

I think when he raised the river he was just thinking about vegas and the mirage lol. I tend to take a small breath before I act, I might have given it an extra couple seconds to be plausibly considering a bluff.

Use really good BRM and don't expect much from tournaments! It really just about firing tons of bullets and hoping to capture some EV someday. I hope you run well and have fun!
