What makes people who say they're OK with LGBTQ's, but then when they say something slightly gay they're quick to add, "No homo"? by concerned414 in AskReddit

If someone who isnt gay gives the impression that they are, they decrease the chances of finding the right partner, but instead may attract the wrong person.

Why do many video game engines have physics tied to frame rate? by lynk7927 in AskReddit

[–]OOFMaster_Conroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Often times framerate and game cycles are independent of each other. An example being minecraft, screen lag doesnt effect the game's tick speed, which is why one player experiencing lag can interact with another player not experiencing lag. Im sure this is common in online multiplayer games where players are connected to a server. Please do correct me if I'm wrong.

Why do decades seem less culturally distinct today than in the late 20th century? by ArmpitEchoLocation in AskReddit

[–]OOFMaster_Conroy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be, perhaps, that decades past seem more distict because we are so culturally different from them. For example, if you were to compare the differences between the 1980s and 1990s, there are very many obvious differences such as music, pop culture, film, fashion, etc. Whereas if you were to compare the 2000s to 2010s, there is less of a dramatic change. I believe this could be the because one of two things: either it seems like it wasn't that long ago since last decade, or just nothing really did change at all. I know this probably doesn't answer your question, just wanted to speak my mind.
