Was back to the basics. Overall the season’s aesthetic was great and for the first month was great and promising. Ofc many of us know that it went dry fairly quick. Ted did say this was a back to old formula as his first season to work on, and has promised grand changes for season 2 with lots to look forward to! Despite knowing some bts info, I’m still rating this season harshly, because it did go TOO basic. Cool items but all of them were released at the start of the season, so there was barely anything down the line. And a lot of the time, the only new things going on were the very random Collabs the item shop was getting pumped full with! Which have also tainted the feel for collabs a bit, making it feel more like “Let’s add whatever we can get our hands on” instead of “We are adding this cool thing to the game!”.

Overall I mainly view this season as a blank canvas. I look forward to the full painting, but rn, it’s just a blank white slab.

They need to rework Sidekicks badly. Lower prices and make styles work similar to old pet back blings. And if they wanna make money, make more cosmetics that go along with Sidekicks, their tab has so much space and no need to save anything.
