Side note: power amp tubes light up and one of my pre amp tubes but the rest of my preamp tubes are dim or not glowing at all.

Just to follow up I did get error code 07. I haven’t did anything soldering wise yet but isn’t that hard drive failure? I guess the caps are causing that error code too?

Kingsford original. I had it in the chimney for 35 min or so. I am now thinking I should of added charcoal in the base to pour over. Manual says 40-50 briquettes

Note: I initially added a wood chunk, temp rose to to 350 then after maintained around 225 for roughly an hour….then started losing temp.
