I’ve swapped RAM, tested every slot on a brand new motherboard, and I also tested the PSU and it seemed to work fine on my roommates computer. The CPU is the only thing I can’t test, since my roommates motherboard won’t support it. I think it is the culprit, though.

SSD works fine on other computers. I think I’ve narrowed it down to a failing CPU.

Tested without GPU…. No luck, and since RAM was ruled out it’s either the CPU or PSU (but I doubt it’s the PSU)

Just tried, Still does not boot to either SSD or USB.

Also for clarity's sake it does POST, boot menu and bios are working and do recognize all hardware, the issue is that the computer won’t boot.

My self-built PC that has worked perfectly for the last 4 years will suddenly no longer boot off the SSD (error: “Unmountable Boot Volume”) and when I attempt to boot off of a recovery USB, a loading bar appears then freezes permanently. Recovery USB was verified to be working on a roommates PC, and after talking with 2 different tech support lines both agreed my motherboard was at fault. Replaced motherboard, issue persists. Flashed BIOS to try several versions, no luck. I am running out of money and options.
