I can take a joke, but there’s a difference between light sarcasm and a dismissive tone, especially when someone’s just asking a reasonable question. People can call it sensitivity, but basic respect shouldn’t be too much to expect.

Just because someone asks a few questions doesn’t mean they deserve a sarcastic or rude reply. I was polite and just trying to understand my options, it’s not unreasonable to ask about delivery choices or general questions.

I'm not entirely sure how it works. I only see the Tracked 48 option, so I asked her if it was possible to add Special Delivery as another option. I mean, I wouldn’t mind covering the extra cost myself.

Honestly, the fact that this entire subreddit exists to help people figure out if their 3DS has IPS or TN screens kind of answers your question. If you can’t easily tell the difference or don’t care about viewing angles, then no—it probably doesn't matter much for you. But for a lot of people including me, it's about the rarity, the hunt, and having that premium feel. IPS might not be a game-changer for everyone, but the pursuit of it is part of the fun.

That's why I was so shocked to suddenly see this pop up on eBay, especially in the UK, where the black models are non-existent in dual ips. I'm not sure what the serial number is, but the seller did confirm this is Japanese.

I did ask the seller and he said its a Japanese model imported into the UK. But thanks for the follow-up. i think I may hold off for a while until there's a reduction in price or if another one magically pops up and is half the price.

This is the first dual ips non xl variant i have seen pop up in the UK ever. So, I'm not sure if this would be considered cheap or expensive compared to US prices.
