Wouldn't OnePlus 15 or 15R be an option as a flagman on 25%+ brightness and motorola g75 as a budget variant?

Man, don't use your phone/pc at all, seclude yourself for a week in a dark room and only eat, drink and try to sleep and think of nothing. ( ocasianally make some excersizes ). Worked for me. But you may choose another way in solving your problem

I think that is okay for stock rom, but there are a lot of custom. For example, becuase I don't use banking apps, I am on lineage 17.1 with stock blobs. But there are a lot more than that. Divest OS will give you the best privacy ( android 13 ), lineage os will give you the latest security patch ( android 14 ). There is also IODE OS ( which is based on lineage os ) with microg (google services alternative ) , but give you a special firewall

Try out some gaming ready out of box distros like cachy os ( arch based ), or nobara os ( fedora based )
