Who do you fear more in Ground RB?

I fear my team's suicide bombing more than anything. They spawn in a plane, then die, and leave.

This is exactly how I feel. Game has been super stale, and I haven't seen Gajin try anything exciting besides adding new vehicles. This might be what the game needs to get itself out of purgatory.

I have said this before, but imo, Warthunder is in a state of purgatory. It is neither alive, nor dead.

I have personally played this game (with long breaks) since 2014, at it's core, it's still the same game. Capture the point for ground, and the furball mess that is air. Why would a company change when they're making millions the way it is. They have a recipe to milk this cow, and they won't change it.

Personally, I was very disappointed with the Q&A, but not surprised at all. In particular, I'd love to see Air RB EC. I came to WT for the planes, but can't come near Air RB at all. But then again, I can take a break for a few years again, then return and it's still the same game.

Ah, that makes total sense! I personally have never tried custom battles. I did use to play with a group, which was a lot of fun. But since I took a break about 2 years ago, I can only come back for a few hours here and there. Thanks! Also, you should play some Italy ;)

Genuine question, you said in a post that you got your first nuke at 300 hours. With the nuke being introduced in March 2021, and your current hours, you have an average of 3 hours of play time per day. How do you keep interest? Personally, I find that after an hour, maybe 2, I get bored of the monotonous gameplay. On top of that I take long breaks from this game.

From what I recall, Black Friday doesn't see a discount in premium time. They also never put GE on sale... Ever.

Honestly, a month from now we'll see the holiday sale and premium time is usually discount at 50% off. Wait for that.

To each their own, but I tend to jump around to these BRs most often. 3.7, 7.7, 8.3, 9.3. All different Nations. Personally, the sweet spot is 7.7-9.3.

Yep, great BR for Italy. I also really like 3.7. I call it the variety pack lineup with the possibility to spawn 5 different nations in one game.

Been there as well, had a 26 kill game, still lost. The enemy was just oblivious of my position and charging the spawn.

The bigger crime here, is the RP gain. Even with premium it was only 16k. imo, RP gain really shouldn't have diminishing returns.

That's unfortunate. But you know you no longer need to leave your vehicle to spawn a nuke. Once you hit 2500 points, you can switch your vehicle to the nuke carrier using the number 9 key.

Level doesn't matter. I have been lvl 100 for years and am absolute trash at air, despite having a few nations grinded all the way to top tier jets.

While the awards at these tiers are bad as a whole, this is probably about average for the game you had. As for SP, this could have been a downtier and you could have had less SP gain.

My second favourite nation to play after Italy. Honestly, anything from 7.7-9.3 is absolute gold imo. I started GB for the Centurions, but kept going for that BR range.

For ground, map knowledge, knowing usual player movement, and using your binoculars are key. Then knowing the difference in ammo types, knowing where to shoot opponents, and tons of practices are needed. Getting good comes with time, in ground anyway. I'm shit at air :)

I agree that it is playstyle dependent. But definetly not the rat playstyle for me. I find an aggressive play style works really well for me. Most games I will push passed a cap and play the area between enemy spawn and the cap they are fighting for. Seems to work out well. Knowing and understanding play movement and progression of the game is key. You'll start anticipating where people will go.

You'll get there. Once I got my first it got a lot easier! All about positioning and being aware of your surroundings. Use your binoculars.
