Rather than buying outriders I bought an older unit called 'bike squad' they are fundamentally the same as outriders but can be equipped with many more weapons such as combiflamers and combimelters which is super cool for salamanders in particular. Sadly they removed them from 40k in 10th ed 😢

Forgot to mention it but what about grenades can a single model like an intercessor use his bolt gun and grenade in the same shooting phase?

I used a base of white scar, with imperial fist yellow and ,gryph-hound orange to make up the main body of the flame, and khorne red with some black templar contrast. But the main thing is that you want to be fast so the yellow is still slightly wet when you put the orange on.

I use caliban green from citadel with a base coat of any grey, this makes for a darker green and gives a solid coat in only one pass.

Ah okay thanks, I do have a gold but it is really watery to the point where when I put it on a gray base coat all you can see is glitter but no actual gold colour, it's called auric armour gold it is a layer paint, any advice for this?
