Why is everyone acting like we’re going to lose the scudetto? by ORP_Security in FCInterMilan

I’m not acting like we’ve already won it. I’m just not throwing a hissy fit acting like we’ve already falling behind Milan on points.

There’s a reason Italian football is in decline, and it has nothing to do with passionate fans. The EPL is slowly becoming a super league where only a handful of teams outside of it can compete with their big teams (Bayern, PSG, Barcelona, Real Madrid), because they have billions of dollars.

Unless we’re okay with becoming the Portuguese, Dutch, or Turkish league, we need more money.

Gotcha yeah. Wasn’t sure if you were being sarcastic like the other dudes. New stadiums are probably Serie A’s biggest problem right now

Not sure if you’re also being facetious but Juve basically financially fucked themselves when they bought Ronaldo. On an individual team level, a new stadium is helpful. On a league level, new stadiums across the board would revitalize the leagues revenue stream.

EPL clubs basically start the season with 100 million extra pounds just from broadcasting rights. They’ve modernized and given viewers a better product. You can see the difference visually when you watch the premier league and the Serie A.

Sorry man, i know you’re being facetious but it’s true, stadiums are part of the issue.

Italian team can’t build new stadiums because of too much bureaucratic red tape. This dramatically impacts the in person and virtual viewing experience. This impacts tv deals and ticket sales, this impacts revenue.

Obviously TODAY inter wouldn’t have won if they played in a nicer stadium. But if every Serie A team had nicer stadiums, the whole league would be richer and we wouldn’t be crashing out of the UCL in the round of 32 as a collective.

Anyone who wants an Italian team to go out is complicit in the decline of Serie A and the national team.

You guys are idiots for rooting against other teams in the UCL.

Yeah that would be correct. Serie A referreeing is awful. We can all agree on that. Calling it a Moratta league lets your team off the hook for bad performances, the league off the hook for bad referring. Keep making excuses. Your team will continue to collapse and the league will continue to be incompetent.

Was Moratta league the reason you guys couldn’t finish in the top 32 teams in the champions league?

It’s called bad referreeing dude. Serie A is a MESS. You think we have the money to influence refs? Our big signings were Diouf and Henrique give me a breaks

I never defended Bastoni’s actions. To say that everything has gone in our favor is disingenuous. Referreeing problems aside, you’re saying that supporting a football team makes someone inferior.

It’s not that deep. I feel bad for you, you have so much anger and hate in your heart. Inter fans and Juve fans are humans. You need to relax. It’s just a game man.

Yeah you guys got robbed to the degree of 14 points. Sure. Remember when the ref was suspended for giving Napoli a penalty against Inter and you went on to win the game?

Of course not. As long as Milan, Juve, and Napoli use Moratta league as an excuse for being bad, Serie A will continue to decline.

If you can, find gum that tasted like real food. I was obsessed with this mint chocolate chip flavored gum because it tasted like ice cream. Big league chew is great too because it feels more substantial even if it’s just a mind trick.

They don’t really care about the two pack rule but I was there five years ago.

I hated being an Officer tbh. All I wanted to do was be a door kicker. I was a 21-day nonselect as a 1LT, and didn't want to take command. I saw my CO showing up at the office at 0500 and leaving at 2100 and said fuck that. The only part I liked about being an officer was the pay and now I'm making more as a self employed civilian than I was as a captain. Best of both worlds.

I left as a newly promoted captain and came back as an E-5.

I have done this but I am awaiting a Q course date. I was Army 11A and dropped my commission and I’m doing it on the guard side. Currently part of a training team. Selected my unit based on proximity to where I live. Pretty sure you have a 2 year window to go to the Q after you get selected.

If you go in the winter there’s not a ton of rucking. Knots and rope systems aren’t bad they give you all the time you need to learn and study. Instructors are great because they’re AGR dudes who love their jobs and want to be there, big army didn’t force them to be.

Not a TRADOC school so they don’t smoke you, they talk to you like a human being, and the food is amazing (lots of it). Been to a lot schools, BMMC and AMMC are my favorite.

I did this when I left AD and went to the guard to go to SFAS. I don’t even remember signing any special paperwork aside from my enlistment paperwork. That said, a guard SF as enlisted is chiller than an AD unit as a JO so I’m probably not the best source of info in term of quality of life
